But he immediately said: "Then why don't you practice? The efforts you have made to repair your body are enough for you to enter the rank. After you reach the ninth rank, with the talent of this flesh, you can support more people."

But Yunjing replied: "Why do you do this? I support them because I can't bear it. This is what I want to do, not to support them for the sake of supporting them. Why do you do this?"

The essence of the two is the same, both are "compassion".

Similarly, Yunjing, who is not in the rank, offers sentient beings with his flesh, which is no more humble than Yunjing of the ninth rank. In this case, what is the reason for practice?

Why practice?

Based on this question, the hearts of Li Qi and Yunjing began to reflect each other.

Li Qi read Yun Jing's heart, and Yun Jing also looked at Li Qi's heart. The two were like two mirrors facing each other, and began to reflect the same things continuously.

Theoretically, there will be infinite images between two mirrors facing each other, because the relative mirror image can reflect repeatedly, but in fact it will not be infinite. The final number of reflections depends mainly on the scattering and absorption effect of the mirror on light, in other words, it is called the 'resolution limit'.

It can show and generate the shadow of body, land and wisdom, without interruption and without interruption, and the future is endless, like a big round mirror, showing all colors.

In human terms, his heart is so pure and flawless that there is no dust, so he can reflect others.

There is a verse saying:

There is no Bodhi tree, and the bright mirror is not a stand. There is nothing originally, so where can dust be raised.

When your heart is completely free of dust, the pure spirit can reflect the spirit of others.

In fact, ordinary people can also do it. The so-called "empathy and sympathy" is like this.

When you see someone hit his toe, you will also feel pain, which is a kind of "empathy".

When you see someone else's sadness, you seem to feel that a certain sadness has permeated you, which is also empathy.

But the hearts of ordinary people are like a mirror, covered by dust, so that they lose the ability to empathize with others. Only extremely strong emotions can cause this empathy.

But the Yunjing in front of him is different.

He truly achieved "there is nothing originally, where can dust be raised".

He is a real Great Bright Mirror, a Great Round Mirror Wisdom. Through his own heart, he reflects Li Qi's heart, so he gets Li Qi's empathy, and then understands Li Qi's thoughts and feelings.

It's like a sharp-eyed observer, a deep thinker with deep wisdom, who only needs to observe a person's actions to see through the secrets deep in other people's souls.

Those monks can see through people's hearts, and they should rely on this kind of power.

Is this what an ordinary Yunjing can do?

No wonder it was collected by the people of Changqiao, this... is simply the quality that a Buddhist should have!

Li Qi was in a good mood, and he felt that he must have found the right person.

With such quality, who else can have it except the reincarnation of a Buddhist?

You know, the Great Bright Mirror is a major source of "compassion" in Buddhism.

Li Qi had also studied Buddhism and knew what this meant.

Why did the Buddha cut his flesh to feed the eagle?

Because he was the Great Mirror of Light and could understand the pain of the hungry eagle.

He truly empathizes with others, so he has real compassion for all living beings, just like he does for himself.

Once he has this ability, the sheep can understand the wolf's hunger, so he will not resent the wolf for eating his family before.

The wolf understands the pain of the sheep's flesh and blood being torn apart, so he will no longer prey on the sheep.

People no longer regard each other as enemies, because they can understand each other because of complete empathy.

People are no longer hostile to each other.

People help each other and are friendly to each other. The wounded are well treated, the dead are properly buried, and the former enemies shake hands and make peace. Former enemies help each other.

People are no longer lonely, and everyone's heart is revealed. They can let go of all hatred because they understand the "enemy's difficulties" and the "ideas" of the people who fought with them before.

When you really "understand" others, instead of "misinterpreting" others from your own perspective, you will find that everything is justifiable and everything is so logical. You will not blame them because everyone can "understand" each other.

Therefore, this kind of offering has nothing to do with cultivation, it is just a choice in the heart.

Buddha nature.

Li Qi saw the complete Buddha nature in it, which must be the characteristic of a Buddhist child.

Then, there is only one last point to prove that the other party is Shariputra.

That is, practice and wisdom.

If there is only compassion and the Great Light Mirror, it can only be said that it has Buddha nature and is qualified to be a Buddhist child, but there are so many Buddhist children, and it is not necessarily Shariputra.

However, if we educate and popularize Buddhism so that all sentient beings can understand Buddhism, then all sentient beings can give alms and make offerings, so doesn’t that mean everyone doesn’t need to give alms and make offerings? In this way, everyone can have a good ending.

Yun Jing was immediately delighted, so he said, "There is actually such a way, please teach me!"

Li Qi nodded, then began to sit down and recite Buddhist scriptures to spread the Dharma.

If Yun Jing is really Shariputra, then he will definitely show extraordinary qualities after he starts practicing.
