Chapter 28 Elizabeth's Request
Charles didn't seem to hear the meaning of the words, so he sat back naturally. "Miss Elizabeth, what's the matter?"
"You said you needed gel, I saw you were in such a hurry, so I brought it here." Elizabeth took out a small box from behind.
"Thank you, how much in total?"
Elizabeth pushed the box with both hands, and directly stuffed the box into Charles's arms. "What are you doing to see someone else? It's not worth the money to send you off."
After speaking, Elizabeth walked into the house and looked at the somewhat dark room. "Honey, don't you usually find someone to accompany you? How lonely you are alone."
Before Charles could answer, Elizabeth moved to the bed and sat down by the door behind her.
Seeing her move, Charles' heart skipped a beat, and he glanced at the pairs of eyes under the bed. He coughed lightly and walked to the table to put down the things in his hand.
"You'd better talk about the price, I don't like to owe others."
The corners of Elizabeth's mouth turned up, a blush appeared on her face, and the desire in her eyes was ready to come out. "In this case, then give you to me."
"What... what?"
Before Charles could speak, Elizabeth raised the short wooden stick in her hand and pointed it at the oil lamp on the table. The oil lamp exploded directly, and darkness completely enveloped the entire room.
In the next second, Charles smelled a fragrant wind, and a soft ketone body was pressed against it.
"Relax, honey, you have to learn to relax, the sea is already depressing enough."
Charles was short of breath, and before he could finish a word, a mass of softness had already pressed against his lips in the darkness.
Although he couldn't figure out the situation, if Charles didn't respond, then he really wasn't a man. A ball of evil fire arose in Charles' heart, and he responded quickly.
The suffocating softness finally left, and there was a rapid gasp in my ear.
Just when Charles was almost unable to jump, there was a mouse cry from under the bed, and the sound instantly poured cold water on him like a basin, directly pouring him a chill.
If it's anything else, it's okay, but there are a lot of light bulbs in the house.
Charles raised his left hand, and the transparent tentacles quickly entangled Elizabeth and pushed her out.
"Miss Elizabeth, I'm sorry, I'm a little inconvenient today."
Her face in the dark was a bit ugly, and being rejected so decisively made her doubt her own charm.
She said in a cold voice: "Charles, aren't you a bit too much, I'm not inconvenient, but you are inconvenient?"
Charles took a deep breath and opened the door, letting in the light from the corridor. "Sorry, I'm really inconvenient today."
"In the association, I help you so much every time, but I don't know how to repay you at all. It's really heartless." Elizabeth straightened her messy clothes and walked towards the corridor with a calm expression.
After the giant beauty left, she left her last words, "You don't like men like the Governor, do you?"
There was a wry smile on Charles's face. The friend he finally made was afraid that he would become a passerby again, although this friend had some impure motives.
But Lily is still in the room. Although she is a mouse, she is still an 11-year-old girl in essence.
In the dark room, Charles rummaged through a candle and lit it. After thinking for a while, he said, "Lily, actually, I just—"
The voice came from under the bed. "I know what you're doing. My father is a doctor. He taught me this. Mr. Charles, am I in your way?"
"Forehead……"
The next morning, Lily, who was huddled up on the pillow, opened her eyes. She was about to say good morning to Mr. Charles, but she saw that there was no one on the bed.
"Jump, is Mr. Charles in the bathroom?"
A brown mouse slipped out through the crack of the door and came back quickly, squeaking twice at Lily on the pillow.
"Did Mr. Charles go out so early? He's really busy." Lily sat up after stretching on the pillow.
After thinking about it with her head tilted, she said to the mice under the bed, "Shall we go out and play?"
Listening to the fierce response below, a smile appeared on Lily's furry face, and she jumped off the bed.
Regardless of the bursts of screams that aroused, Lily led the mice and ran wildly on the streets of the inner island.
The woman in a dress covering her mouth and screaming, the barking wild dog, the old lady waving a broom, the driver who brakes suddenly, everything is big and full of novelty from the mouse's perspective.
However, seeing more hostile gazes around her, Lily hurriedly led the mice towards the side alley.
There were not as many people in the back alleys as there were on the streets, and Lily walked slowly with the mice.
"Wow, look at that bread is so big, I can sleep in it, escape, don't go! That's someone else's bread!"
"Meat is not allowed, you will get Mr. Charles into trouble!"
While Lily was wandering aimlessly, she suddenly saw an acquaintance in the distance, that was a big man working in the turbine cabin.
Lily was about to rush over to say hello, but saw James, who had always been covered in oil, was wearing a tight suit and holding a bouquet of very expensive flowers in his hand.
His expression was very tense, and the back of his suit was wet with sweat.
"Come on, let's follow him secretly to see what he's going to do."
James turned around in the alley, and finally came to the front of a bakery.
When a delicate woman in a skirt came out, James took out a small box from his arms and knelt on the ground on one knee, and the customers in the store also applauded.
"Wow! Marriage proposal!" Lily exclaimed excitedly.
When she saw the woman crying and nodding in agreement, and hugging James, Lily showed a sweet smile on her face. "so good."
Watching them enter the store, Lily continued to walk forward, and at this moment, her stomach made a rumbling sound.
"Since Mr. Charles said that I am his crew member, he should also pay me a salary. In that case, I can buy food for everyone."
The mice all around chirped.
Looking around, she noticed a big clock tower in the distance, and Lily said to the mouse next to her: Everyone, this is not far from my house, let's go and see my mother, and then go home to find Mr. Charles for food. "
After Lily finished speaking, she led the mice to run wildly. This time she learned how to behave, and chose to go to remote corners, and finally did not scare others.
Lily brought the mice to the villa again, and the mice skillfully folded the Arhat and sent the white mouse to a window.
Lily lay on the glass, staring at the family who were eating. "Why did dad leave work so early today?..."
Seeing them talking and laughing in the room, Lily's eyes began to moisten.
She stood at the window to see the end of lunch. Lily hid quickly when she saw her mother coming out to throw out the trash.
Watching her mother return to the house with nostalgia, Lily jumped into the trash can and found the food scraps thrown out.
She picked up a fishbone and licked the fish meat on it, and the brown mice rushed up, and the food residue was cleaned up in an instant
At this moment, Lily heard the little girl's cheers from outside. "Thank you mom and dad for the birthday present! I love you guys!!"
Standing in the garbage, the white mouse tremblingly raised the fishbone in its hand to the surrounding mice. tears run down her face
"Look, I'm right, my mother's sweet fish soup is really delicious."
