Chapter 344: Stalemate and Injury
The black fog surrounded Sherlock.
The dozen or so Armor Spells he had used in advance had been eroded by the black fog, leaving only a few thin ones, because they had already been consumed in the previous chase.
Sherlock was now struggling to face Voldemort's offensive.
In the battles between top wizards, the proportion and position of Transfiguration became more important.
Spells were still the key to defeating the enemy, but the enemy certainly would not stand there stupidly to let your spells hit them. The best way to restrict the enemy's actions was undoubtedly the application of Transfiguration.
Voldemort, who was amazing in the black magic, also knew this.
It was just that few of his enemies had allowed him to use magic to this extent, and for some reason, he was very resistant to the magic category of Transfiguration.
But Sherlock made him break his vow today.
He must have seen the Shadowless Divine Sharp, the black magic invented by his most talented subordinate, Severus Snape.
Snape's Shadowless Divine Sword was very powerful, but also had great limitations. However, no matter what, it would never be like Sherlock's current one, which was a 180-degree horizontal slash without dead angles!
The moment Sherlock cast this spell, he already felt something was wrong. While using Transfiguration to create a wall in front of him to delay time, he quickly rose into the air, narrowly avoiding the invisible magic blade, but the hem of his robe was still cut off.
The magic attached to the blade instantly tore the cut piece of cloth into countless pieces, which fell to the ground with the breeze brought by the black fog.
The black fog was all around him, and Voldemort, who was suspended in the air without any tools, had a gloomy face.
Sherlock did not cause any effective damage to him, but even so, he still felt humiliated. He lightly tapped the wand in his hand, pointed it in the direction of Sherlock, and waved it simply without reciting any spells.
The yellow-red flame flowed down from the tip of his wand, falling to the ground like water, and then the flame turned into a python larger than Nagini, spreading towards Sherlock's position.
The scorching heat, even at a distance, seemed to be able to roast people into mummies, so Sherlock had already sensed what kind of dark magic Voldemort was using without seeing the terrifying flame.
The Fiery Curse, one of the most evil and difficult to control dark magic.
At the beginning of this semester, Sherlock used this spell to solve the crown on Fiddlesticks' head.
Later, he and Professor McGonagall worked together to solve the small, seemingly "insignificant" piece of Fiery.
And now, Sherlock soon saw the giant python transformed from Fiery rushing towards him!
Without the intention of resisting, he turned around and retreated quickly, while controlling the floating wand in the air to separate dozens of them, falling straight from the sky like a sharp sword, and the tip of the wand pierced into the ground, blocking the front of Fiery.
"All spells are over!"
A bright blue light lit up between the wands stuck in the ground. At the moment Sherlock recited the spell, a substance that was very similar to flames but did not make people feel any heat rushed into the sky!
The blue flame formed a seemingly thin but solid wall between Sherlock and the fire python, hindering the attack of the fierce fire.
The fire python seemed to have an independent life and consciousness. Its vertical eyes made of flames stared at Sherlock through the wall, and then slowly opened its big mouth, revealing two sharp fangs!
"Bang!"
There was a fierce collision between the red and blue flames. The contact between the two flames burst out sparks like those produced when iron tools meet!
The fierce fire spell was in a stalemate with the breaking spell, and Voldemort still did not stop attacking Sherlock.
"He is my subordinate. I can also cast Severus's spell."
The cold voice sounded above Sherlock, followed by an emotionless spell.
"God of Swords!"
A huge invisible blade formed in the air, aiming at Sherlock's position, just like the guillotine used in medieval executions, falling from the sky, aiming at his neck.
The moment Voldemort's spell was formed, Sherlock knew that it was too late for him to hide now.
The biggest advantage of God of Swords is not its lethality, but the casting speed and concealment that other spells cannot match.
The time required for the invisible magic blade to hit the target from the time it was formed by the caster was less than two-thirds of the time required for the Killing Curse.
Knowing that it was too late to hide now, Sherlock made the safest choice.
Except for the dozens of wands stuck in the ground that were entangled with the Fiendfyre, the remaining more than a hundred wands all gathered above his body.
Using the silent transfiguration, hundreds of wands were connected together to form a huge iron chain net!
There was no other transformation material in the air, so Sherlock could only choose to use his own wand.
The magic blade and the iron chain net collided violently the moment they came into contact, and the stalemate lasted only less than two seconds before the iron chain net transformed by the magic wand shattered!
The magic wand, which was destroyed by external forces and forcibly released from its transformation, was chopped into countless wood chips, which fell from the sky.
After destroying more than fifty wands, Sherlock did not successfully block Voldemort's Shadowless Blade, but he bought himself enough time to dodge.
He rolled to the right side, and just less than a foot away, the Shadowless Blade that pierced the iron net fell down!
Sherlock had avoided all the vital parts of his body, but his left arm still did not avoid the corner of the Shadowless Blade. His sleeves were torn, and scarlet blood burst out from the wound on his arm!
He clenched his teeth, and the severe pain at that moment made his mind dazed for a second. The wands floating in the air and the breaking spell that was in a stalemate with the Fiery Blade Curse also trembled involuntarily for a moment, and almost got out of his control.
The wound on the arm was of course nothing, but the most disgusting thing about the Shadowless Blade invented by Snape was the invasion of black magic after the wound.
The pain that seemed to penetrate into the soul made Sherlock grin.
Fortunately, Shenfeng Wuying has a way to remove the curse, which is recorded in the notebook that Snape gave him.
He did not control the wand, but directly used the method of controlling magic and casting spells without a wand to remove the curse on his arm, but the wound could not be healed for the time being.
