Chapter 41 Iphigenia and the Tauris

Tauris Peninsula.

Luo Yin's body fell from the sky and landed just outside the tallest building on the island, the Temple of Artemis.

"It hurts..."

His body fell heavily to the ground, and Luo Yin complained while struggling to get up.

"When Zeus's human father-in-law Bellerophon rode Pegasus to Mount Olympus, Pegasus betrayed Bellerophon and made Bellerophon fall from the sky to the ground, but Bellerophon did not die. I was a little skeptical about this story, but now I believe that with divine power protecting our bodies, we will not die if we fall from a high altitude."

Luo Yin had just stood up when a group of Tauris people guarding the Temple of Artemis rushed over and surrounded Luo Yin and said.

"It's a Greek!"

"Because the Greeks once invaded our island, King Thoas ordered all Greeks to be sacrificed to the gods. Let's take him to the priestess!"

"The hateful Greeks should be sacrificed."

After the Tauris made the decision, two people came over and tried to grab Luo Yin's hands.

"Get out of here!"

Although Luo Yin felt so painful that it seemed that all the bones in his body were broken, he still waved the divine spear with his right hand and killed the two Tauris who wanted to capture him.

After the two Tauris fell down as corpses, the surrounding Tauris retreated in fear and dared not approach Luo Yin again.

"Goddess! I just saw him fall from the sky, and he was still able to fight bravely."

"Isn't he a human like us, but a god disguised as a human?"

"Let's report the situation here to the king!"

After the Tauris left Luo Yin as if he was running away, Luo Yin endured the pain in his body and walked towards the temple.

At the entrance of the Temple of Artemis, stood a girl with blue hair and blue boy, who looked like a sea goddess.

She stared at Luo Yin who was walking over and said.

"You really look like the man who used to be my fiancé, but I know he died in the Trojan War, so you can't be him."

"I know you are Princess Yinphigenia, the daughter of Agamemnon!"

Luo Yin walked up to the girl dressed as a priest, looked at her goddess-like beauty and said.

"When Agamemnon wanted to offer you as a sacrifice to Artemis, your mother Clytemnestra promised Achilles to be your husband in order to protect you. I didn't expect you still remembered Achilles."

Yinphigenia shook her head and said.

"I had forgotten what Achilles looked like! But when I saw you in front of me, I remembered that Achilles had the same face and figure as you. If I didn't know that Achilles had died in the battle, I would definitely mistake you for Achilles."

"That's impossible!"

Luo Yin is not Neoptolemus, so Achilles can't have the same appearance as Luo Yin.

Looking at Yin Feigenia's calm face, Luo Yin teased jokingly.

"Inphigenia, have you heard the story of Hercules and Inore? Hercules had always loved Inore, and when he made Inore his slave, his life came to an end. In order to make up for his regret of not being able to get Inore, Hercules let his son Hylos marry Inore, whom he loved. You may have guessed that I am Neoptolemus, the son of Achilles. You just said those strange words. Are you going to follow the example of Hercules and Inore and marry the son of your former fiancé Achilles?"

"I am the priestess of the goddess Artemis!"

Inphigenia said with a blushing face.

"Artemis is a virgin goddess who vowed to never marry. As her priestess, I will also never marry like her."

"That's a waste of a goddess-like beauty."

Luo Yin said with disappointment.

"Before the Trojan War, you were only about fifteen years old. Even though thirteen years have passed, you are only twenty-eight years old."

After saying that, Luo Yin was about to bypass Yin Feigenia and enter the temple.

Yin Feigenia immediately stopped Luo Yin and said.

"When King Thoas of Tauris knows about you, he will definitely bring many warriors to capture you. You should run away quickly!"

"Don't worry, no matter how many humans there are, they can't hurt me! I will leave here with the statue of Artemis, and you can also return to Greece with me."

After Luo Yin entered the temple, Yin Feigenia sighed helplessly and walked in with Luo Yin.

Although the huge Temple of Artemis is like a maze, the statue of Artemis enshrined in the temple is so small that Yin Feigenia can hold it in her hands.

Before Luo Yin picked up the statue, Yin Feigenia took the statue first and said.

"Let me help you hold the statue! This way you can fight with all your strength and take me and the statue of Artemis away from Tauris."

"Do you believe I can defeat the Tauris people?"

"I believe in the gods who led you here!"

Inphigenia said, looking down at the statue in her hand.

"I had a dream last night that I left here and returned to my hometown Greece. Today you appeared in front of me. I believe this must be the will of the gods."

"Since you have received the revelation from the gods, then stay with me. I will take you and the statue of Artemis back to Greece."

Luo Yin took Yin Feigenia to the outside of the temple, and saw that King Thoas had surrounded the temple with thousands of Tauris warriors.

Seeing Luo Yin and Yin Feigenia walking out with the statue in his hand, Thoas, who was riding a black horse, said loudly.

"Foreigner! I don't care if you are a god disguised as a human or an ordinary Greek, as long as you promise not to hurt the priestess, I will let you leave safely."

Although Thoas hated the Greeks, Yin Feigenia was a priestess who suddenly appeared in the Temple of Artemis like a miracle and was chosen by the gods.

In addition, Yin Feigenia obeyed Thoas's orders and always sacrificed her fellow Greeks as sacrifices, so Thoas respected Yin Feigenia very much.

Hearing Thoas' words, Luo Yin smiled playfully and teased.

"Tauris people who are blinded by gods, do you really believe in Artemis, the goddess of the Greeks? Remember quickly, you hate the Greeks, so you don't believe in Artemis, the goddess of the Greeks. It's just that one day, Artemis suddenly replaced the goddess you really believe in. Now I'm going to take away the statue of Artemis and the priestess. This is a good thing for you, because you can believe in your goddess of the Tauris again."

The Tauris people's heads have not been caught by the door.

They hate the Greeks, but worship the Greek goddess Artemis - this abnormal thing, the Tauris people also noticed the violation.

Hearing Luo Yin's words, the Tauris people immediately vaguely remembered that the goddess they worshipped was indeed not Artemis, but a bow-holding goddess similar to Artemis.
