Hogwarts Kryptonian

Chapter 11 Talented Player

"Lu Yunkai! Wait a minute!"

The long potion class came to an end.

With two gold galleons added to the system balance and Professor Snape's praise of "I wish I could give you extra points", Lu Yunkai spent the happiest morning since he came to this world.

Just when he was about to go to the cafeteria for lunch and then carefully calculate whether it was worthwhile to increase the system balance by making potions, he was stopped by two old friends.

Harry looked at him with a look that was not friendly, and Ron next to him looked a little embarrassed.

The floating Lu Yunkai calmed down instantly.

"What's wrong, Harry?"

"Why did you lie to me that you were born a Muggle?" Harry's tone was full of resentment.

"I just found out yesterday that my adopted father is a famous wizard."

"...Really?"

"Why would I lie to you?" Lu Yunkai spread his hands, "Just because my adopted father was once the dean of Slytherin, I am not worthy of being your friend?"

"Don't say that, Yunkai!" Ron, who was standing aside, couldn't stand it anymore, "If Harry didn't consider you a friend, he wouldn't ask you."

"I thought Harry didn't want to be friends with Slytherins!" Lu Yunkai said in a sad tone, "You've been too lazy to talk to me these past two days."

"No! It's because we haven't been exposed to magic before, but your performance in class is much better than mine, and I'm afraid you'll laugh at me..."

"I laugh at the person who killed the mysterious man? Do I deserve it?" Lu Yunkai said in a ridiculous tone. "I'm not Malfoy!"

"Indeed, there aren't many idiots like Malfoy." Ron was amused by Lu Yunkai.

"That's right!" Lu Yunkai said to Harry seriously, "You must be good at something, but you just haven't found it yet. Those who dare to look down on you are really stupid."

"God knows when I can find what I'm good at." Harry seemed a little frustrated.

It seems that he has been deeply educated by reality these two days. Compared with his two acquaintances Lu Yunkai and Hermione, he feels very humble...

In fact, if there is no cheating trick, Lu Yunkai doesn't think he can be much better than Harry.

He has to be pressed to the ground by that freckled academic bully.

"Have hope! So many people regard you as a savior, isn't it because you brought them hope when the dark magic was rampant! You can do it! You can prove yourself this afternoon!" Lu Yunkai reached out and patted Harry's shoulder.

"This afternoon?" Ron shook his head doubtfully, "Flying class? That's hard!"

"I have confidence in Harry." Lu Yunkai nodded with a smile, "Do you want to have lunch together?"

"Don't you want to eat with your Slytherin classmates?"

"If anyone in Slytherin is willing to pay attention to me, do I need to sit in the last row?" Lu Yunkai smiled and shook his head, "Why, do you really not want to be friends with me because I was sorted into Slytherin?"

"No! No!"

"Then let's go! I'm almost starving." Lu Yunkai said the truth.

"Okay! Let's go!" Ron also nodded quickly.

"Severus, what do you think?"

In the distance, two people watched what had just happened on the stairs.

"He is very talented."

"Oh?"

"The anti-swelling potion he just made is already above the OWLS qualified level. Why do you ask this?"

"He reminds me of someone."

"Who?"

"A person who is equally talented and was once mistaken for a Muggle."

"Him? Is he worthy?"

"When Tom was eleven years old, he had to hide stolen things in the closet, but he could already make Harry listen to him."

"..."

"I'm a little unsure about Horace, this adopted son, Severus. You may need to pay more attention to Harry. It's best to let him have less contact with Lu Yunkai."

"I know."

****

Lu Yunkai swore that the words he said to Harry after the potions class were just to comfort and encourage him not to be depressed.

But things went beyond Lu Yunkai's expectations.

In the afternoon flying class, Lu Yunkai really saw what, fucking, was called, talent.

While everyone else was still jumping on their brooms, trying to keep their feet off the ground for a little longer, Harry could already fly freely in the air.

It was less than five minutes since Harry first came into close contact with a flying broom, and Hermione couldn't even make the broom fly to her hand obediently!

Later, Neville accidentally fell off the broom and broke his arm, so that the teacher Madam Hooch had to leave the other students behind and send him to the infirmary, which also proved from another side that Harry could fly so well, that he was really gifted.

After Madam Hooch left, Lu Yunkai did not continue to fiddle with the broom, but simply lay on the lawn and looked at the sky.

Checking all kinds of strange magic items in the system.

He would not admit that it was because he was jealous of Harry! He was afraid of heights!

"Why are you lying here?" A voice pulled Lu Yunkai's attention away from a suitcase worth seven thousand gold galleons.

"...Oh! Daphne!" Lu Yunkai quickly supported his body and sat up.

Daphne was now sitting on the grass beside him, and he felt that it would be a little impolite for him to continue lying there.

"Don't you practice flying? Don't you want to join the Quidditch team?" Daphne continued to ask.

"Not interested."

At lunch, Hermione introduced this sport to him in a "very Muggle way": "Football on a broomstick".

Because of that bastard in the beer hall, he hated football...

"At lunch, you had lunch with those Gryffindor people, and Pansy came to ask me when I met you."

"Borgin and Burke!" Lu Yunkai smiled, he knew that this was what Daphne wanted to talk to him about, "Why, what did you choose from it in the end?"

"A harp that you can play by yourself. But my mother told me not to tell others that I have been to that place." Daphne shook her head, "So I said that I helped you a little bit when I was in Diagon Alley."

"Yeah. Help is certain, the location doesn't matter." Lu Yunkai smiled.

The crystal bottle worth 300 gold galleons can improve the quality of potions, which is of great help to him! Without it, Lu Yunkai would not have performed so well in the potion class this morning.

"But she doesn't believe it." Daphne sighed softly, "She and Millicent both think that I want to get closer to you alone, so I don't tell them your background."

"... You are a lady of the Greengrass family, and you want to get close to me alone? Do I deserve it?" Lu Yunkai was amused.

"It's better than Malfoy, right?" Daphne glanced at Malfoy who picked up a glass ball from somewhere and dangled there, "You are Slughorn's adopted son."

Lu Yunkai didn't answer.

It was the first time he knew that his adopted father was called Slughorn.

And he didn't know how to discuss this concept of being well-matched with an eleven-year-old girl, which should be understood only when you are old enough to no longer believe in love.

Maybe this is a big family!

"Luckily, I didn't look down on you the last time I met you." Daphne sighed softly, "Otherwise, if my mother knew, I would be scolded."

"I'm not that petty." Lu Yunkai shook his head.

But he was wondering in his heart.

Where did his adoptive father come from? A lady who claimed to be from a wizard family would be scolded for offending him?

"Well. Since you are not that petty, can you do me a favor?" Hearing this, Daphne laughed.

"What?"

"Pansy and Millicent want to apologize in person for looking down on you before, but they are afraid that you will not accept it, so they want me to talk to you first..."

"Just tell them that I was quite angry at first, but I accepted their apology for your sake." Lu Yunkai also laughed, "How about I go and tell them directly after class?"

"Is that so? Thank you." Daphne smiled and nodded at Lu Yunkai.

"Actually, I should thank you." Lu Yunkai smiled and shook his head, "You are the first Slytherin who took the initiative to talk to me! I thought I would stay alone in Hogwarts until graduation."

"How could it be!" Daphne shook her head, "They just don't know who your adoptive father is yet. If they knew, they would definitely come to bother you."

"Oh? They don't know, then why do you know?"

"Because my father once said it! Professor Snape and he were classmates, and their teacher, the then Dean of Slytherin, was an amazing figure!"

"It seems that you know more than me, so can you take the time to tell me how amazing my adoptive father is?"

"Okay! Just consider it as a thank you for helping me this time."

"Well, go and do something if you have something to do!"

"What am I busy with... ah!! What's going on? That Potter is flying too fast!"

Following Daphne's exclamation, Lu Yunkai saw Harry riding a broom, chasing after a flying glass ball like an arrow from a string.

Isn't that the one that Malfoy had in his hand just now?

"Malfoy is really good at getting into trouble!"

"He's just used to being rude." Daphne sighed softly, "After all, the Malfoy family has a great influence both in the Ministry of Magic and in Hogwarts. He may not have seen other people's eyes since he was a child."

"Forget about others, Harry..."

As the two of them were talking back and forth, Harry had already flown back with the glass ball.

What greeted him was the unanimous cheers and applause from the students of the other three colleges except Slytherin...

Alas. Lu Yunkai sighed.

During the month of hanging out in Diagon Alley, Lu Yunkai personally experienced how great Harry's fame and popularity were. Lu Yunkai didn't believe that he could be bullied by a guy who looked down on him in Hogwarts.

Look at this cheer!

At this moment, a tall and thin figure walked past Lu Yunkai and Daphne.

"Harry Potter."

Professor McGonagall's voice silenced the cheers.

They then remembered that Madam Hooch had warned them not to fly on their own before she left, in case of an accident.

Harry was caught by Professor McGonagall!

"Professor McGonagall, just now..." Ron, who was standing by, wanted to explain to his good friend.

"Come with me." Professor McGonagall ignored Ron and turned around and left.

Harry had no choice but to follow him. When he passed by Lu Yunkai, he quietly gave him the glass ball he had just caught.

Malfoy and his two followers gloated again and were about to mock Ron and Hermione.

"Let's sort out the brooms too!" Lu Yunkai sighed softly and put the glass ball in his pocket. He had to send it to Neville in the infirmary later. "Otherwise, when Madam Hooch comes back and finds out what happened here, she will be angry and deduct points from the school."

Ron and Malfoy shut up when they heard about the deduction.

A group of children, what a headache! Lu Yunkai sighed silently.

...

Thanks to the book friend Tiankong Xiao for the reward.
