Chapter 10 Andy: I Think I Have Met My Match
In the last few days before school started, Andy did not continue to practice magic, but spent time with his family and had a good time with Isabel for two days.
September 1st.
Andy slept in as usual, and was awakened by Helen's angry voice, and was forcibly pulled out of bed by the little girl Isabel.
Andy walked downstairs in his pajamas and greeted his family with sleepy eyes: "Good morning."
"Andy, you can't do this."
Kyle had finished breakfast, "If you continue to sleep in when you get to Hogwarts, you will be late for class."
Andy sat at the dining table in a daze, patted his face to make himself a little more awake, "Don't worry, I brought an alarm clock."
Sleeping in was Andy's dream in his previous life and a habit in this life.
"It's his own business to be late for class, and the professors at school will discipline him." Helen said unhappily. If there is anything else about this child that makes her dissatisfied, it may be sleeping in.
After breakfast, Andy went to the bathroom to take a shower and then changed into clean clothes.
The luggage had been packed last night. After Andy checked and found that nothing was missing, he carried the suitcase to the living room on the first floor.
Kyle was sitting on the sofa reading the newspaper. He had asked for half a day off today.
This was Andy's first time to go to school, and he didn't want to miss such an important moment.
"Didn't Gringotts get robbed? It's been so long, and the Daily Prophet hasn't reported it yet." Andy glanced at the newspaper and then leaned back on the sofa and lost interest.
Crash!
Kyle flipped the newspaper and said in a tone of an experienced person: "Child, this is the charm of gold galleons."
Cornelius Fudge became the Minister of Magic only last year. Everyone in the magic world knows that he relied on Dumbledore's support to get to the position and was Dumbledore's yes-man.
The result is just like this?
Is this what Dumbledore himself meant, or did he misjudge people?
Thinking of a professor of the Defense Against the Dark Arts class, Andy suddenly realized that Dumbledore might have Alzheimer's disease.
After all, he is over 100 years old.
The legal retirement age in the Muggle world is 60 years old, and Dumbledore is over 100 years old, but he still insists on going to work. What kind of perseverance is this?
After dawdling at home until more than ten o'clock, Andy and his family of four took the Knight Bus to King's Cross Station.
The experience of the Knight Bus is very good. It can take you anywhere you want to go. It can go through mountains and grasslands as if walking on flat ground, and it is more exciting than a roller coaster.
This bus is Andy and Isabel's favorite.
At this time, the train station was crowded with people. Andy and his family came to a wall between the ninth and tenth platforms.
"Let's go, dear."
Helen took Isabel's hand, and after Andy and Kyle passed through the wall, she took the little girl through it.
The front and back of a wall are two completely different worlds. People in another world may never think that there are a group of magical wizards living with them in this world, right?
The Hogwarts Express is a Victorian-era crimson steam train that looks very old.
But Andy really couldn't associate this train with the word "express".
Is it faster than a green train?
Not to mention the high-speed train.
The platform was full of parents sending their children to school. They were wearing all kinds of strange costumes and looked weird.
Some little wizards brought pets with them. Andy noticed that a round-faced little wizard kept a toad as a pet.
Oh my God! Can you really pet that creature?
"Hurry up and get on the train. There should be a lot of empty carriages at this time."
Helen said reluctantly: "Remember to write to us when you get to school."
"Got it! Goodbye, Dad, Mom, and Isa, see you at Christmas."
Andy waved goodbye to his family and waved his wand gently at the suitcase.
"Wingardium, Leviosa."
The suitcase flew up and followed Andy. Andy walked onto the train and walked through the corridor to find an empty carriage.
After putting away the suitcase, Andy opened the window of the carriage and said goodbye to his family.
"You guys go back quickly, I'm going to sleep for a while, I got up too early this morning." Andy waved his hand.
"How long do you want to sleep? Do you want us to wait for you with an empty stomach?" Helen said unhappily.
"Okay, okay!"
Kyle laughed and said, "Then we'll go back first, see you on Christmas."
"Goodbye Andy."
Isabel looked at Andy reluctantly, and said in a vicious tone: "You must write to me when you get to school!"
"I know! I will definitely write to you."
After the family left, Andy closed the window and took a nap.
Crash!
The door of the carriage was opened, and a brown-haired girl stood at the door carrying a large box.
"Can I sit here?"
The brown-haired girl raised her chin, "Hello, I'm Hermione Granger, who are you?"
Andy: "..."
"Please sit down, I'm the only one here. Oh! I almost forgot to introduce myself, my name is Andy, Andy Collins." Andy said.
"Nice to meet you, Mr. Collins." Hermione nodded and walked into the carriage with her suitcase.
"Just call me Andy."
Hermione's suitcase was too big, and Andy saw that she had a hard time carrying it, so he took out his wand and chanted a spell.
"Wingardium, Leviosa."
This might be the biggest gain after Andy practiced magic for more than a month - no matter what problem he encountered, Andy would always take out his wand to solve it in the first place.
This is a good habit, and Andy decided to keep it up.
"A beautiful levitation spell, thank you, you can also call me Hermione."
Hermione sat opposite Andy, raised her chin, and was as proud as a white swan, "Are you also a first-year freshman?"
Andy looked up and was about to answer.
Then Hermione continued like a machine gun: "I also tried a few simple spells at home, just for practice, but they all worked."
"No one in my family knows magic, so when I received the acceptance letter, I was shocked, but also very happy... I have memorized all the textbooks, of course, I just hope it will work..."
Andy didn't pay much attention to what Hermione said later. When Andy heard the words "I have memorized all the textbooks", he knew that he had met his match.
So, is the novel "Hermione Granger and Her Two Useless Men" true?
Andy has read textbooks, and it is difficult for Andy to recite a paragraph of that kind of book, let alone recite the whole book.
"You are really amazing."
Andy said sincerely: "I can't do it. I can't memorize those textbooks at all, so I can only practice magic. I practiced each magic thousands of times. Of course, I also hope it will work."
