Hogwarts: I'm a Model Wizard

Chapter 191: First Entering the Secret Chamber

Late at night.

On the third floor of the castle... In a women's bathroom on the corridor to the left of the stairs, there were suddenly several loud laughs and a shrill scream.

A ghost wearing glasses suddenly rushed out through the wall.

The next second, the wooden door of the bathroom was also opened from the inside.

Peeves followed with a bunch of balloons filled with water, laughing. There was also a brand new packaging bag on its waist, which was full of balloons of various colors. The ammunition was very sufficient.

Not long after the two ghosts left, a corner of the corridor that was originally empty suddenly twisted.

"Huh... finally left."

Kyle lifted the Disillusionment Spell, then came to the bathroom and pushed the door and walked in.

Because it had not been used for a long time, the old wooden door suddenly made a tooth-grinding "creaking" sound.

This bathroom was not big and was covered with dust.

But Kyle didn't care about these. He came to the sink, looked around, and soon found the faucet with a small snake carved on the side.

"It should be here..." Kyle reached out and touched the snake, muttering, "The entrance to Slytherin's Chamber of Secrets."

Kyle hesitated for a long time before whether to come here.

Because with his current strength, if he faced the basilisk, he would have no chance of winning.

And he is not Harry, and he will not have the help of the Phoenix and the Sorting Hat.

But Kyle still came.

Not to mention anything else, even if it is for the snake skin in the Chamber of Secrets, he must come.

Basilisks are like fire dragons, almost all of their bodies are treasures, and their snake skin is an extremely rare potion material. On the black market, a palm-sized piece can be sold for ten Galleons, and there is no market for it.

And the one in the Chamber of Secrets is almost twenty feet long, and it can be piled up into a mountain of Galleons.

It is not easy for him to wait until now to come here.

Kyle touched the little snake again, and a strange hissing sound came out of his mouth.

"Open..."

Although Kyle doesn't need Parseltongue to talk to snakes, this ability obviously doesn't work on the faucet.

So when he was at Newt's place before, Kyle found a runeslip snake and learned a few dialects from it.

Although it may not be authentic, it is definitely standard.

Because the faucet at this time has emitted a dazzling white light and began to rotate rapidly, and then the pool also moved.

Kyle watched the pool slowly disappear from his sight, revealing a water pipe that was thick enough for a person to crawl into.

Kyle touched his box, took out his flying broom from it, and then decisively crawled in.

The light in the pipe was very dim, and there were some sticky things around.

Kyle rode the flying broom all the way down, turning seven or eight times in the middle, and finally left the pipe.

Kyle got off the broom.

This is a dark stone tunnel, large enough for a person to stand in.

"Fluorescent light!"

Kyle lit his wand and walked forward carefully.

It was just too dark in the tunnel. He could only see a small area in front of him. His shadow was stretched long on the wet wall, and he looked like a monster.

Rat bones were everywhere on the wet ground. Banban would like them very much.

Kyle walked while paying attention to the movements around him, ready to run away at any time.

A few minutes later, Kyle turned a dark bend in the tunnel, and then he finally found what he was looking for.

The outline of a huge monster coiled on the other side of the tunnel, motionless.

Kyle quickened his pace and walked over, while raising his wand.

The light shone on a huge snake skin, green and shining with bright gold, very bright.

Kyle immediately opened the box and stuffed it in.

After that, he looked around again, but he only found some scattered snake skin fragments. This was the only complete one.

Seeing this, Kyle gradually let go of his heart that had been hanging.

There was only one complete snake skin, which meant that the snake monster did not move here often.

If he guessed correctly, the one just now should have been left fifty years ago... when Tom Riddle first opened the Chamber of Secrets.

Kyle continued to move forward, but for the sake of safety, he did not completely let down his guard and still held the flying broom tightly.

Along the way, in the spirit of diligence and thrift, Kyle did not let go of the fragments and took them away as long as he saw them.

He picked up the fragments while walking and soon came to the end of the tunnel. After turning the last corner, a solid wall blocked Kyle's way.

There were two snakes entwined with each other engraved on the wall, and their eyes were inlaid with large, shining emeralds.

Kyle stretched out his hand and pressed on one of the gems.

He suddenly thought that if he took off these gems, would the wall never be opened...

Kyle thought so and did so.

Unfortunately, no matter what method he used, whether it was prying or magic, the gem showed no signs of loosening.

It felt as if it was one with the whole wall.

Kyle spent a long time trying, but he was exhausted.

"Forget it, I won't try anymore..."

He raised his head, looked into the eyes of the two snakes, and hissed again.

The two snakes separated, the stone wall split in the middle, slowly sliding to the sides and disappearing. Kyle reached into the box, took a deep breath and walked in.

On the other side of the wall was a long, dimly lit room with two rows of stone pillars carved with entangled snakes.

Once here, the snake skins were completely gone, not a single one could be found.

Kyle held his wand in one hand, a rooster's neck in the other, and a flying broom under his arm, slowly moving between the stone pillars where the giant snakes were coiled.

Every step he took produced a hollow, loud echo between the ghostly walls.

Kyle first looked around carefully until he was sure that there were no other pipes except the entrance behind him, and then he walked through the room with confidence.

In front of the last pair of stone pillars, Kyle saw a statue as tall as the room itself, clinging to the dark wall behind.

The statue had an old monkey face and a sparse long beard that almost dragged to the ground.

"Salazar Slytherin..." Kyle narrowed his eyes and muttered softly, "This doesn't look that good. Ms. Hufflepuff looks more like a legendary wizard..."

Kyle looked up. He knew that as long as he said the last word in Parseltongue, the statue's mouth would open and the basilisk would wake up completely.

"Should I wake up the basilisk?" Kyle thought hesitantly.
