Chapter 57 The Ravenclaw Bronze Ring
Before the dinner was over, the twins snuck up to the Ravenclaw table.
The two of them had big panda eyes and kept yawning. At first glance, they were in low spirits and stayed up for a long time.
To find the killer, the twins stayed up late all Christmas, staring at the Marauder's Map and monitoring Snape's medicine store.
With this serious attitude, it would be a lie to say that he is not moved... Sure enough, the usual unreliable attitudes are all faked. When it comes to the critical moment, the twin brothers are more reliable than anyone else!
Without saying anything, William was going to make some life and death water for the two of them, so that they could get a good night's sleep.
Life and Death Water is the best sleeping pill. It is more effective than melatonin. Of course, William is also trying it for the first time, just to practice his hands.
George took a book out of his robe and handed it to William.
"Are there so many suspects?" William asked in surprise. "I still use a small notebook, this is too professional..."
Before he could finish speaking, he was stunned.
The first page of the book reads: Super Mario clearance strategy!
So, the twin brothers did not monitor at all, but went to Hogsmeade to play the customs clearance?
Fred said with a headache: "William, how did you pass the seventh level?"
"That's right, Fred and I tried several times and we didn't get through?"
The twin brothers' childhood pastimes were throwing goblins, riding broomsticks, and playing such a fun game console as Muggles.
In just one Christmas holiday, they have become game console addicts, and they even sneaked to the Muggle house to recharge!
"It's not that we don't have surveillance, it's that no one goes to Snape's drug store," George said.
"With us, there are not many students in this school. They all stay in the common room of their own academy." Fred yawned.
George continued: "We were suspicious of Professor Tywin, but he left school on the first day.
In a few days, Professor Snape came back, and he regarded us as murderers, making excuses all day long to make things difficult for us, we must hide in Hogsmeade. "
With that, George handed William a load of snacks from Hogsmeade.
William picked up a bag of small pepper urchins and said, "Forget it, we're just bored anyway, so leave him alone."
"It's still up to us," Fred said solemnly. "Next time the other party destroys it, we might as well follow behind to help."
"..."
After the dinner, William and Cho followed the rest of the Ravenclaw along the usual route to the Ravenclaw Tower.
Everyone was noisy and seemed very happy.
But when they got to the wooden door, they found a lot of people crowded in the corridor.
"Why doesn't everyone go in?" Marietta asked curiously.
William looked forward over the head, and the wooden door seemed to be closed.
"Please let me over." Prefect Robert's voice sounded, and he came out of the crowd quickly.
"Why are you stuck here? Hurry up and answer the question, I'm still waiting for the knock on the door—"
The crowd was quiet, and it was quiet from the front, so it was like a cold snap spreading down the hallway.
In this silence, there was a sudden, ear-shattering cry, which was so mournful that William felt heart palpitations for no reason.
The crowd dispersed, only to see Robert sitting slumped against the wooden door, with his back firmly against the wall, his feet on tiptoe firmly on the ground, trying to stand up on this basis, but he only stood up halfway and fell back.
Next to Robert, there is a hole the size of an arm.
- eagle-shaped bronze door knocker,
lost!
"Oh my God—" Marietta exclaimed, clutching William's arm.
William felt heartache again, a holiday was gone,
Marietta's arm strength has also grown, and it's a shame not to be a hitter.
"Go and invite Professor Dumbledore, quickly!" someone shouted.
After a while, Professor Dumbledore arrived, and he hurried to the wooden door; the students of Ravenclaw, all huddled together to let him pass.
Dumbledore glanced quickly at the damaged wooden door, then took out his wand and clicked on the wooden door.
I saw a row of red fonts that slowly emerged and turned into a sentence: Ravenclaw bronze ring, I took it!
"Professor Flitwick, please go to Filch immediately and tell him to block the entire castle." Dumbledore said seriously.
"The man has run away!" said a hoarse voice suddenly.
Peeves danced over the heads of the crowd, looking very happy, seeing the devastation and sadness that he always did.
"What do you mean, Peeves?" asked Dumbledore calmly.
Peeves' smile faded a little, and he didn't look directly into Dumbledore's sharp blue eyes.
He switched to a slick tone that sounded better than the hoarse voice.
"I'm sorry, Mr. Principal, just ten minutes ago, I saw a figure hurried over here.
He glanced at me, smiled at me, and talked to me. "
Peeves was overjoyed.
"Oh, what did he say?" Dumbledore asked quietly.
"I think about it, oh, I think about it!" Peeves' mouth curled into a smile, and he glanced maliciously at all the little wizards, and lowered his voice again.
"The man laughed and said, 'I'm a Death Eater, and I'll take the Ravenclaw ring and bring the Dark Lord back to life'."
The crowd screamed, and the little wizards began to crowd.
"Quiet!"
Dumbledore's voice seemed to have magical powers, and the noise faded away.
Dumbledore glanced at the row of letters, and there was a flash of anger in his eyes, but he still asked calmly: "Peeves, do you see what that person looks like?"
"Yes, I see it clearly." Peeves glanced at Dumbledore fearfully, "I see it clearly, he looks exactly like Professor Snape!"
Peeves suddenly flipped somersaults in the air and quickly flew towards the sky.
It was dead silence all around.
This is completely impossible. Tonight, Professor Snape is sitting in the seat of the guest of honor, without leaving a single step!
Not only him, William knew all the professors, and they all sat in the chair of the guest seat without leaving one step.
Professor Dumbledore thought for a while, then told all Ravenclaw students to go back to the Great Hall.
Ten minutes later, students from Hufflepuff, Gryffindor, Slytherin and other houses also came, and these students were all confused.
"The teachers and myself will conduct a thorough search of the castle," Professor Dumbledore said with a serious look.
"You should sleep in the auditorium tonight."
At this point, Professor McGonagall and Professor Flitwick closed all the doors of the auditorium.
"For your own safety, I think you may be spending the night here.
I asked the prefects to stand guard at the entrance to the auditorium, and the presidents of the boys and girls student councils to stay in the auditorium to manage. Report anything to me right away. "
Professor Dumbledore paused, was about to leave the auditorium, and said, "Oh, by the way, you're going to need..."
With a random wave of his wand, the long tables flew to the edge of the auditorium; with another wave, the ground was covered with hundreds of purple sleeping bags.
"Sleep well," said Professor Dumbledore, closing the door as he went out.
