First of all, I went out to play yesterday to celebrate Children's Day (I said it like a child), so the first leave note disappeared.

Secondly, "Second-rate Detective and Cat" is still being serialized in the form of a physical book extra; regarding this issue's story, I am considering whether to write a case divided into three or even four parts, because the previous two-part format always feels a bit rushed.

Next, let's talk about the plot of "Horror Paradise" this month.

I have already completed most of the script of "Memories of Summer". It was inspired by the last time I went out to play the escape room. However, the mechanism and plot I wrote are not related to that escape room anymore...

Although there was a preview before that I would write a script related to the main plot this time, it seems that there is no room for the main plot to intervene, so I decided... forget it.

I will try to finish this script in early June, and then enter the single-player script to advance the main plot...at least, that's what I think now.

At the moment, I am mainly thinking about the plot of Yu Chaolian - regarding the hidden line in this "free exploration mode", I have already thought about how to fill the pit and foreshadowed it in the early stage of setting. My plan is... to let Feng Bujue return to this mode before autumn and close this story line.

Okay, about the plot, what I want to say and can say...that's all.

Do you think that the current preview is more about the big plot planning?

In fact, this is normal, after all, the story of "Horror Paradise" has entered the final stage.

This year can be said to be a year of filling the gap. This book will not accompany you for too long. We have finally come to the time to say "read one month, one month less".

Objectively speaking, this book... is indeed very long, even too long; the boredom caused by the length will obviously continue to increase. In the later stage, the stories I spent a lot of energy writing may not get as good feedback as the stories I wrote casually in the early stage.

For me personally, this is a kind of learning and tempering, because this is also the first time I have written such a long novel. The two novels I wrote before were completed at about 1.2 million words, and the word count of "Horror Paradise" will definitely exceed 4 million when it is completed; besides, I really don’t know how to write the so-called "upgrade" and "routine". I use the "outline in my mind" to lay such a long line. Looking back, I feel incredible.

Today, I can say that I will maintain and improve the advantages of this book; and I think the shortcomings of this book are more valuable and can become an experience that allows me to improve.

But in any case, the overall story of "Horror Paradise" can be said to be a done deal; if you want to ride this ship to the end, you have to take away both the parts you like and the parts you don't like...
