$189 Luke's Gaze
"What is this!"
Tony looked ahead with lifeless eyes. He was obviously a little impatient after hearing a series of stories from Sharon Carter.
"What I want to know is about the wizard, not what those weird superpowers did."
Tony looked at Sharon Carter in front of him, a little impatient.
As the leader of a large enterprise, he certainly knew the existence of those weird superpowers, but he didn't want to know this.
Pepo stared at Tony with a serious look, like a mother scolding her child.
Under this serious look, Tony gradually calmed down.
"Tony, we don't know about the existence of wizards."
Sharon Carter said calmly. She had never seen the wizard Tony mentioned.
"I know the existence of those superpowers, so why should I ask Aunt Peggy for help?"
Tony Stark glanced at Nick Fury standing aside, a little disdainful.
Although he didn't know Nick Fury, it didn't prevent him from guessing Nick's identity from Sharon Carter's attitude.
"Okay Tony, you should go back and rest. It's late now."
Pepo interrupted Tony's complaints. If he stayed here, he wouldn't get the ending he wanted. It would be better to go back and rest early.
"Okay Pepo. Maybe I should have a good sleep. The nightmare will be over after I wake up."
Tony stood up and walked towards his car.
"Tony, I'll take a car with you."
Pepo followed behind and gestured to Sharon Carter with a little apology.
Then he drove away with Tony, bypassing Nick Fury, who was not far from the door.
"Director, what are you doing here?"
Sharon asked Nick Fury without turning her head. Since he came here, he has been standing there looking at the blacksmith shop.
After entering, he just said hello to the killer monkey, and there was no other movement.
"I'm here for support."
Nick Fury sat directly at the table, a little depressed.
S.H.I.E.L.D. really can't get any strength out recently.
He even had to seek help from Rumlow, the person he hurt. After all, SHIELD was not very good at dealing with the mysterious field.
Nick Fury picked up the half bottle of wine left by Tony on the table, walked to the side of the closet, took down a glass that looked like it had not been used for a long time, and poured it in.
"Director, I really want to remind you to do everything within your ability."
Sharon Carter looked at Nick Fury deeply, then left the blacksmith shop with her handbag.
SHIELD is indeed contributing to the safety of the world, but trying to control those uncontrollable things is dangerous in itself.
Sharon Carter didn't want to die inexplicably, so she never deliberately sought more truth.
Nick Fury sat back at the table and drank by himself.
Killer Monkey sat on a stool on the side with a twitch, not knowing what he was thinking.
"The captain and others called for support, but I couldn't even send out a support staff. It's ridiculous."
Nick Fury took off his usual disguise on his face and muttered to himself.
SHIELD is still under the supervision and review of other departments. Even if he wants to send a team of field agents, he has to report to his superiors.
SHIELD is in chaos now and has no ability to deal with emergencies.
"Squeak~"
The killer monkey's mocking cry went directly into Fury's ears.
Then Nick Fury's phone rang.
"Director, we are on our way back."
Coulson's tone of reporting the situation was no different from usual.
"Then come directly to this blacksmith shop."
Nick Fury said and took a big sip of wine.
"Got it."
Then Coulson hung up the phone.
Nick Fury needed to know what happened in this operation, and he didn't want those military guys to get involved.
The big green guy alone was troublesome enough. He didn't want to hear about the big red guy, the harpy and the like being born from the hands of the military one day.
...
"Rumlow, go call Luke."
Talek, who had just returned from the Elder Temple, interrupted Rumlow's training. After knowing who the enemy was, this soft training method had to be accelerated.
"It seems that I have to go to the secret realm where the team is formed?"
Rumlow put away his weapon and said to Talek.
"Who told you?"
Talek widened his eyes and was a little unbelievable.
"It's obvious, otherwise why did you ask me to call Luke?"
Even though Matthew returned to the Holy Mountain, he was thrown to Reko by Bul-Katho as soon as he came back.
Rumlow did not notice Matthew's arrival.
He turned around and walked towards Luke's training place, leaving Talek's soul there.
And Orak, who was responsible for training Jessica, was looking at Jessica who was still waving her weapon, and was a little hesitant about whether to tell Jessica the truth of his trial.
Even if he wanted the barbarians to have more power, he still didn't intend to give Jessica any convenience to survive this crisis.
Even if the world might soon be plunged into war, he would not go against his principles.
But telling the other party about the danger she was about to face was not a violation.
"Olak, do you want to tell me something? For example, I might die in your trial?"
Jessica did not stop her movements and spoke in a very calm tone.
"I have thought a lot since I came here.
I was saved from the nightmare by Bulkatho, but how can I end the nightmare I brought to others?
I am a person, even if I am used as a weapon, I have my own thoughts.
You have to pay the price for doing wrong things, this is fair."
Jessica finished her words and ended the 5,000th swing.
She turned around and looked at the tall Orlak and laughed, a little heroic.
"Tell me when I start the trial."
Olak saw the seriousness in Jessica's eyes, and then he sat cross-legged on the ground.
"Tomorrow, tomorrow you can try to redeem yourself."
Olak has seen too many barbarian recruits, and he will not be particularly optimistic about this girl because of Jessica's free and easy style.
Most barbarians are like this, and he has long been used to it.
"Can I eat something other than black bread today? I'm tired of that dry feeling."
Jessica sat directly opposite Orak, carefully observing the barbarian known as the God of War.
The brown beard and hair were a mess, covering most of his face.
The thick eyebrows blocked the eyes that were originally like copper bells, making it difficult to see his eyes.
"I will ask someone to prepare food for you."
Orak was still calm as usual.
Behind the stone not far away, Luke was spying on what was happening here.
Behind him, Vader was following his gaze and watching the interaction between Jessica and Orak.
Vida's face looked a little strange.
