Goodbye 2017, Looking Forward to 2018
Thanks to all the enthusiastic book friends for their support, "Storm God" has had a wonderful 2017.
To be honest, overall, this series of books "Storm" definitely brought me a surprise!
I once thought that I would be grateful to God for being a high-quality product, but I didn’t expect that it would reach this level. This would not be possible without the support of all readers, brothers and sisters.
Compared with LoL, Overwatch, Honor of Kings, and the latest Chicken Game, which have become popular in recent years, World of Warcraft is an old IP that is declining day by day, and can be called a niche.
Writing such a niche article actually puts a lot of pressure on my heart.
Niche literature is destined to have a relatively small readership. When I opened this set of books in 2016, I had no idea how many old people who played World of Warcraft would read such YY novels.
I wrote it without hesitation, because it represents the most beautiful memories of a generation.
Been crazy!
It was painful!
Laughed!
It was flaunted wantonly!
Even though I missed many opportunities to make money because of playing games, I have never regretted it.
This is a very precious and irreplaceable unique memory.
It’s worth it for this memory!
In the hearts of a thousand people, there are a thousand "war beasts"!
I also know that many players were tribes back then, but unfortunately I have always been an alliance, so the balance between the alliance and the tribe is quite difficult to achieve. If the protagonist is an orc or a tauren, the sense of immersion will be poor, so I can only give up writing that the protagonist is a tribe.
It's really hard to write "Warcraft" fans, that's the truth. Of the Warcraft fanfics I've read, none really reach the later stages.
Either the strength is unbalanced early and they are all wiped out directly, or they wait until the Burning Crusade is about to end. No set is written well enough to reach 7.0 and Shazong is really overturned.
To be honest, when writing about Yogg-Saron being defeated, I have used all the ideas that should be used. If you look at it purely from the perspective of a novel, it is just a mess or a continuation of the story.
I was totally holding on, and writing was very hard. In order to write two chapters every day, it took about two hours just to look up information and background.
There is no way, the world view and background of World of Warcraft are too huge. Even a mini-boss may have a background story of thousands of words. It all depends on the author as to which one to choose.
What’s even more disgusting is that Blizzard’s own official website is reading the book. The most obvious example is Illidan, who became the villain during the Burning Crusade and was directly killed by players, even exploiting the egg knife.
Who knew that 7.0 would return to whitewash!
This is driving fan authors crazy.
How do you write this?
In addition, the data in this book has been reduced to nothing, and I can’t hold it any longer.
In the end, my personal health deteriorated, as well as family reasons (children were noisy and noisy), etc. It was simply adding to the weight and it was quite unbearable.
But for this unique memory and for the sake of completeness, I will still write 7.0 as promised.
That being said, Duke has developed to this day, many plots, and even the entire version are no longer suitable.
For example, in Pandaria, the Pandaren have no sense of presence, so I will choose to ignore it.
King of Draenor... Once again, if the time traveler knows this and still lets go and yells, that is the shame of the time traveler.
Basically, after an enhanced version of the Cataclysm, plus the crazy plot, it's straight up to 7.0.
Everyone's guess is correct. The "Storm" series of books has entered an advanced stage in my design. It will probably end around May 2018 as planned, and the error will not exceed one month.
As for the new book, it is still being prepared and has not been finalized. If you have any opinions or ideas, you can also directly QQ me in the v group and leave a message. Although I do not go to QQ every day, I will definitely read it if you leave a message.
Finally, I hope that everyone will support me in the new year, support genuine subscriptions, accompany "Storm" on its final journey, and draw a perfect conclusion to this beautiful memory.
ps. Double monthly votes, so please vote first. I guess it won’t officially break out until after the 3rd. Sorry!
